LIFE #34

On April 16–17, 2026, the 34th LIFE Information Platform took place in Tsaghkadzor, bringing together young people from different regions of Armenia to strengthen their capacities, deepen their knowledge of human rights, and promote inclusive civic participation.
The objectives of the platform were:
• To develop youth leadership and activism skills
• To promote civic participation and engagement in public life
• To raise awareness of human rights and protection mechanisms
• To deepen knowledge on stigma, discrimination and harmful stereotypes
• To increase awareness of psychoactive substances, methadone substitution therapy, trafficking and prevention measures
• To support communication, partnership-building and knowledge exchange

On November 18–19, 2025, the 33rd LIFE Information Platform was held in Aghveran, bringing together young people from different regions of Armenia to strengthen their capacities, deepen their understanding of human rights, and promote inclusive civic participation.
LIFE #32

On October 23–24, 2025, the 32nd LIFE Information Platform took place.
The goal of LIFE-32 was to strengthen young people’s leadership skills, promote civic engagement, strengthen their legal consciousness, increase knowledge about human rights and protection mechanisms, enhance sensitivity toward stigma and discrimination, and foster communication and networking among participants.

On October 3-4, 2024, LIFE-31 information platform was held, this time with the purpose of capacity building, awareness-raising, communication and integration of young leader migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
The information platform was launched by NG NGO President Sergey Gabrielyan’s welcoming speech. He thanked the participants for their interest and presence at the platform, expressing hope that the informational platform will become a benchmark for their future active engagement, public participation, and integration in Armenia.

On July 30-31, 2024, another LIFE information platform was held, this time with the purpose of capacity building, communication, networking and integration of young leaders of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karbakh) and Armenia.
The information platform started with the presentation of the topic of Hepatitis C by the experts of Doctors Without Borders charity, Armenia (Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)) – Emilya Jamalyan, Medical Liaison Officer and Shirak Krouzian, Health Promotion Supervisor.

On November 23-24, 2023, the two-day off-site LIFE Information Platform was held for young people forcibly displaced from Artsakh in the consequence of the full-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan in 2023. The Information Platform was aimed at developing the capacities of the Artsakh Armenian youth in legal and healthcare sectors, forming skills related to protection of human rights and advocacy, fight against trafficking, as well as promoting control and prevention of epidemics and pandemics through raising awareness of the transmission ways, prevention methods and treatment.

On October 26-27, 2023, LIFE (Leadership, Information, Freedom and Equality) information platform was held for 30 emerging leaders and activists on the topics of Leadership and Activism, Human Rights, Domestic and International Protection Mechanisms, Labor Rights,
about the response and prevention against pandemics and epidemics like COVID-19, MPV and HIV, ways of transmission and prevention methods and treatment.

On July 27-28, 2023, a two-day capacity building training-information platform was held for refugees, IDPs, and asylum seekers having moved to Armenia due to the Russian-Ukrainian war. The training was aimed at developing the participants’ capacities in career development, NGO establishment, leadership, conflict resolution, financial management, human rights, the procedures in place, as well as the existing opportunities and available services.

On July 27-28, 2023, a training course about the response and prevention against pandemics and epidemics like COVID-19, MPV and HIV, ways of transmission and prevention methods and treatment was held for key population groups having migrated to Armenia due to the Russian-Ukrainian war.

From June 26 to June 27, 2023, New Generation Humanitarian NGO held, as a closing event of the Pride Month, an information platform for vulnerable groups hosting more than 30 representatives of vulnerable groups as participants.
The objective of the information platform was to offer an opportunity to vulnerable groups, representatives of state, international and local organizations, healthcare institutions and experts in the field for communication, exchange of opinions and experience, as well as for sharing information and suggestions.

On June 26-27, 2023, capacity building training was held for CSWs by New Generation Humanitarian NGO (NGNGO).
The goal of the training was to raise the awareness of CSWs about the importance of HIV prevention and testing, HIV prevention methods, ways of transmission, STIs, treatment and prevention as well as to enhance their legal awareness by providing knowledge in the field of the right to health, the right to be free from stigma and discrimination.

The goal of the training was to raise the awareness of trans* about the importance of HIV prevention and testing, HIV prevention methods, ways of transmission, as well as to enhance their legal awareness by providing knowledge in the field of the right to health, the right to be free from stigma and discrimination.

On February 24-25, 2022, LIFE-19 offsite information platform was held within the framework of Sensitization and Empowerment for Equality project for emerging LGBTI activists. The information platform is aimed at the awareness-raising and capacity building of LGBTI community representatives on the topics of leadership and activism, human rights, stigma and discrimination, enhancing their legal consciousness, acquainting them with the domestic and international human rights protection mechanisms.

On September 29-30, 2021, LIFE-17 offsite information platform was held within the framework of Capacity Building and Empowerment for Protection of LGBTI Rights in Armenia for beginner LGBTI activists. The information platform is aimed at the awareness-raising and capacity building of LGBTI community representatives on the topics of sexuality, leadership and activism, human rights, enhancing their legal consciousness, acquainting them with the domestic and international human rights protection mechanisms as well as assessing the needs of the communities.

On December 16-19, 2020, LIFE-16 offsite information platform was held within the framework of “Fighting against discrimination in Armenia” project. This time the platform united begginer activists of LGBTI and Female Commercial Sex worker communities, taking into account the international successful experience of different communities gathering in one place to discuss and share their problems, find common grounds, discuss similarities and differences of their situation as vulnerable groups of the society, share their experiences of successful solutions to the similar problems in different communities.

On November 26-28, 2020, LIFE-15 offsite training was held within the framework of “Fighting against discrimination in Armenia” project. This time the training was held for beginner CSW activists. The goal of LIFE offsite training is the awareness-raising and capacity building of CSW community representatives on the topics of leadership and human rights, enhancing their legal consciousness, acquainting them with the domestic and international human rights protection mechanisms.
