We would like to inform you that Dignity Humanitarian NGO operates a temporary shelter for LGBTQI refugees and asylum seekers in Armenia.

Our goal is to provide them with a safe and protected environment where they can access temporary housing conditions.

Who can apply

LGBTQI+ individuals who:

• Have a refugee status,
• Are asylum seekers (have applied to the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Republic of Armenia for a refugee status),
• Have fled their country due to stigma and discrimination, criminalization, or political and non-political persecution on the basis of sexual orientation and/or gender identity (SOGI), which must be proven,
• Were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh /Artsakh/ in 2023,
• Have faced or are facing discrimination, violence, or persecution in Armenia and/or Nagorno-Karabakh /Artsakh/ on the basis of SOGI.

To be eligible for the shelter services, applicants must meet at least two of the above conditions.
