On March 1, the world marks Zero Discrimination Day
On March 1, the world marks Zero Discrimination Day, initiated by UNAIDS to promote equality, dignity, and respect for every person. This day reminds us that discrimination—whether based on health status, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, disability, age, or social background—continues to limit opportunities, restrict access to services, and violate fundamental human rights.
At Dignity, we reaffirm our commitment to building a society in Armenia where every individual can live free from stigma and exclusion. Discrimination remains one of the key barriers to accessing healthcare, HIV prevention and treatment services, social protection, education, and employment—especially for vulnerable communities.
Zero Discrimination Day is not only a symbolic date—it is a call to action. It urges institutions, civil society, and communities to challenge harmful stereotypes, reform discriminatory practices, and ensure inclusive policies that protect the rights and dignity of all.
Dignity NGO continues to work toward a future where diversity is respected, equality is upheld, and no one is left behind.
Because dignity belongs to everyone—without exception.
