Dignity NGO Publishes Its 2025 Annual Report
Dignity Humanitarian NGO has published its 2025 Annual Report, providing a comprehensive overview of the human rights situation in Armenia, manifestations of discrimination and the key challenges faced by vulnerable groups.
The report presents the results of legal consultations provided by the organization throughout 2025, documented cases of rights violations and a sectoral analysis of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI), as well as other grounds.
Particular attention is given to legislative regulations and existing gaps in the Armenian legal framework, including the absence of a comprehensive anti-discrimination law, challenges within criminal and labor legislation, regulations affecting the healthcare and military sectors and legal mechanisms related to domestic violence and sex work.
The report also includes descriptions of human rights violation cases, information on court proceedings, challenges related to the response of law enforcement bodies and analyses of discrimination documented in healthcare, employment, penitentiary institutions and other sectors.
Separate sections examine manifestations of hate speech in online environments, key trends in the targeting of LGBTQI+ individuals on social media platforms and the impact of such practices on the spread of discrimination and violence.
The report concludes with legislative and practical recommendations aimed at strengthening human rights protection mechanisms, preventing discrimination and promoting equality.
