HIV Prevention Program Results: January-March 2026
DIGNITY SAVES LIVES…
In April 2026 alone, 4,908 people received HIV testing, and 31 new HIV-positive cases were identified.
31 people who may otherwise never have known their HIV status.
As a result, HIV transmission could have spread at least 31 times further.
This is the real value of prevention — not posters and slogans, but lives.
The DIGNITY team works every single day — quietly, but with real impact:
- Free and anonymous HIV testing
- Counseling
- Support services
- Linkage to treatment
Yerevan + 10 regions across Armenia
And now the most critical part:
The HIV prevention program is set to end on December 30, 2027, while HIV cases in Armenia continue to rise.
If programs like these stop operating in Armenia, the consequences will not simply be “statistics” — they will be real human lives lost.

On June 5, 2026, within the framework of HIV prevention programs implemented by Dignity Humanitarian NGO, a training session on “Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Their Prevention” was organized for beneficiaries.

It is also a reminder that stigma and discrimination continue to take human lives — sometimes no less cruelly than the disease itself.
