Emergency Support for HRD at Risk / Armenia
DIGNITY Humanitarian NGO is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Emergency Support Programme for Human Rights Defenders (HRDs) – Armenia.
The programme is designed for human rights defenders from different countries who, as a result of their peaceful and legitimate human rights work, face serious security risks and require temporary relocation to a safe environment.
Human rights defenders who have experienced or continue to face any of the following are encouraged to apply:
- Threats;
- Persecution;
- Discrimination or stigmatization;
- Physical or psychological violence;
- Arbitrary detention or unlawful deprivation of liberty;
- Digital or online attacks;
- Or other risks directly related to their human rights work.
The Emergency Support Programme for Human Rights Defenders – Armenia provides participants with the opportunity to temporarily relocate to a safe environment, restore their safety and well-being, continue their professional activities, and prepare for their next steps.

- Application deadline: 31 July 2026 (inclusive)

All information submitted as part of the application process will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of assessing eligibility for participation in the programme.
