Legal Q&A Session Held at the Yerevan Drop-In Center
Dignity Humanitarian NGO's legal expert, Shushan Khnkoyan, conducted a "Legal Questions and Answers" session at the Yerevan Drop-In Center. The meeting aimed to provide an open and safe space where participants could raise legal concerns and receive professional guidance.
During the session, participants discussed a range of important legal issues related to the rights and responsibilities of people living with HIV. The discussion focused on obligations established under current legislation, legal regulations concerning specific professions and employment, as well as challenges encountered in the practical implementation of these provisions.
Particular attention was also given to the former legal regulations that classified homosexuality as a mental disorder, the subsequent legislative changes, the current legal framework, and the remaining human rights concerns associated with this issue.
The session was held in an interactive Q&A format, allowing participants to receive comprehensive answers to their questions and strengthen their legal awareness.
