“My Voice Matters”: Participatory Discussion Held in Gyumri and Lori Regions
On June 3, 2026, informational and experience-sharing meetings were organized in Lori and Gyumri regions, as part of the project “My Voice Matters: Inclusive and Democratic Participation of Youth in Parliamentary Elections in Armenia.”
The sessions were facilitated by Artur Andreasyan and Ani Aschyan, participants of the project’s Training of Trainers (ToT) course, who shared the knowledge, experience and practical skills they had gained throughout the training.
The discussions focused on the importance of media literacy, the impact of misinformation and effective ways to counter it, as well as the role of young people in democratic processes and civic engagement.
Participants explored fact-checking and information verification tools, reflected on the influence of social media in shaping public opinion and discussed the significance of informed and responsible participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The meetings were conducted through interactive and participatory methods, fostering open dialogue, peer learning and the exchange of experiences and knowledge among participants.
Young people also received informational materials developed within the project, covering topics such as electoral processes, electoral rights, human rights and equality, media literacy, countering misinformation and civic participation.

The project is implemented by Dignity Humanitarian NGO with the financial support of the New Democracy Fund.
