“My Voice Matters”: Youth Discussion in Vayots Dzor
On May 29, 2026, informational experience-sharing meeting took place in Vayk city within the framework of the project “My Voice Matters: Inclusive and Democratic Participation of Youth in Parliamentary Elections in Armenia.”
The meeting was facilitated by TOT participant Milena Samvelyan, who shared the knowledge and experience gained during the training with youth of Vayots Dzor region. Discussions focused on media literacy, countering misinformation, as well as democratic and civic participation.
During the meeting, participants became familiar with tools for information verification and analysis, discussed the influence of social media on public opinion formation and reflected on the role of youth in democratic processes, particularly in the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Through active discussions, participants also shared their experiences, ideas and observations regarding community issues, emphasizing the importance of informed and responsible participation. The meeting was conducted through interactive methods, encouraging collaborative learning and the exchange of experiences among young people.
During the meeting, participants were also provided with informational materials published within the framework of the project on the electoral process, electoral rights, human rights and equality, countering misinformation, media literacy, civic participation and other related topics.



The meeting was organized by Dignity NGO at the Alternative Youth Center of Armenian Progressive Youth NGO.
The project is implemented by Dignity Humanitarian NGO with the financial support of the New Democracy Fund.
