“My Voice Matters”: Youth Discussion in Aragatsotn Region
On May 30, 2026, another informational experience-sharing meeting was held in Arayi village of Aragatsotn region within the framework of the project “My Voice Matters: Inclusive and Democratic Participation of Youth in Parliamentary Elections in Armenia.”
The meeting was facilitated by TOT participant Anahit Gasparyan, who shared with local youth the knowledge, practical skills and experience gained during the training course. Discussions focused on media literacy, the impact and prevention of misinformation, as well as the importance of youth participation in democratic processes.
Participants explored different tools for information verification and analysis, discussed the role of social media in shaping public opinion and reflected on the importance of responsible youth engagement in the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections.


The meeting was conducted in an interactive format, encouraging active dialogue, exchange of experiences, and collaborative learning among participants
Participants were also provided with informational materials developed within the framework of the project on topics including the electoral process, electoral rights, human rights and equality, media literacy, countering misinformation and civic participation.
The project is implemented by Dignity Humanitarian NGO with the financial support of New Democracy Fund.
