The Second Day of the 3-Day Training of Trainers
On May 21, 2026, the second day of the 3-day Training of Trainers organized by Dignity Humanitarian NGO (DIGNITY) continued successfully.
The second day of the training was dedicated to the topics of countering misinformation and the development of critical thinking skills. The main objective of the day was to equip young people with the knowledge and tools necessary to distinguish reliable information from manipulative content, as well as to engage in public and democratic processes in a more informed and responsible manner.

The day’s expert, Lilit Antonyan, presented the mechanisms of misinformation dissemination, its impact on public opinion formation and democratic processes, as well as the role of social media in today’s information environment.
Special attention was paid to the influence of misinformation during electoral processes and the role of young people as responsible information disseminators and active citizens.
During the training, participants also discussed how they can contribute to promoting media literacy and combating misinformation within their communities by organizing future informational and educational meetings for regional youth.
The training continues through participatory and interactive methods, encouraging active discussions, exchange of experiences, and collaborative learning.
The training is implemented by Dignity Humanitarian NGO within the framework of the project “My Voice Matters: Inclusive Democratic Participation of Youth in Parliamentary Elections in Armenia,” with the financial support of the New Democracy Fund.
